Welcome to the official website of Dr. Virendra Kumar Madhukar, Assistant Professor of Botany at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur. A specialist in plant taxonomy, systematics, ecology, and biodiversity conservation, Dr. Madhukar earned his Ph.D. (2016) from Banaras Hindu University on the Taxonomic Revision of the Family Bignoniaceae in India. Since joining DDU in 2018, he has guided research scholars, published extensively (20+ papers, book chapters, and Hindi articles), and secured major funding, including a ?21.6 lakh grant from the Ministry of AYUSH to establish a Herbal Garden. He also contributes actively to university administration and academic committees. A Fellow of the Association for Plant Taxonomy and life member of several scientific societies, he has been recognized for his contributions to higher education and research. His work on Bignoniaceae, Poaceae, and invasive alien plants continues to advance biodiversity documentation and conservation efforts
